TCLG is a UNDP participant “Aid for trade: promoting productive capacity in the Serbian agro-industrial sector”

On November 13, 2018 in Belgrade (Serbia) international UN experts from the Russian Federation A. I. Generalov and O. V. Generalova-Kutuzova held a seminar-presentation of the study on export and certification of food and agricultural products in the Russian Federation for representatives of Serbian companies working in agribusiness and food industry. After the presentation the questions of the audience were answered.

During the return visit on December 12, 2018, a B2B meeting of 10 Serbian companies was held in Moscow, the purpose of which was to establish partnership trade relations between Russian and Serbian business owners.

The meeting was attended by 15 Russian entrepreneurs representing food retail chains, environmentally oriented enterprises and online stores from Moscow, Moscow region, Yaroslavl and Saratov regions of the Russian Federation.

Mr. Goran Simunovic (UNDP Serbia representative) greeted the participants of the meeting as well as Mr. Dejan Delik (Director of the Moscow representative office of CCI of Serbia), Mr. Milivoje Jovanovic (ENECA), Mr. Dmitry Monenco (chamber of Commerce of the Moscow region), followed by the presentation of the annual Moscow exhibitions of Ecocities as an instrument of export promotion that was represented by its Director, Ms. Gulnara Temirbulatova.

Before the B2B meetings, a detailed presentation of Serbian firms and two video presentations were shown. B2B meetings and food exhibition were held with the help of 3 interpreters, in Russian and English. At the end of the meeting, all participants expressed satisfaction with the usefulness and organization of the event.

The expert assignments were implemented in the framework of the project “Aid for trade: assistance to strengthen productive capacity in the agro-industrial sector of Serbia”, implemented by UNDP (UNDP, UN Development Programme) with the financial support of the Russian Federation.
